Really decent compressor for a price

Really nice options, you can set it up for variety of different use types. Sturdy, well built and looks interesting. Great choice of knob options. Sounds great as funk comp also does awesome job as sustain for singing solos. Only con is bit of hiss on higher levels. Nothing extreme. For this price really good and flexible comp.

Simple compressor, without getting trivial

I bought this pedal to improve the behaviour of my "freqout" pedal (feedback creator), and I'm not disappointed. But I've gone further than that, and found that this is a very versatile, yet easy to use, piece of equipment, In addition to the typical "sustain" and "attack" controls, it allows to blend in the dry signal, which allows for an additional, subtle layer of control. The pedal is very solid, very sturdy, and heavy. However, the knob controls are delicate and provide a good feeling when operating them. The only drawback? Let's say that it's not the cheapest compressor available.

Spot on.

I love the blend on this thing. I use it on my Acoustic Pedalboard but it’s just as perfect for my hollowbody.

Great budget compressor

I use it with my 5 string bass, it's very serviceable and does the job pretty well especially for that price. Fairly compact too which is also a plus. Overall very happy with it.

Does what it says on the tin

excellent especially for the price, the PAD switch is excellent when switching from humbuckers to single coils. not a very "squishy" compressor so if you're looking for that look elsewhere, its more for those of us that dont want the compressor as its own "effect" for want of a better word.

Noisy

Maybe because I'm new to the compression pedals, and it's supposed to be this way, but this pedal produces too much noise making everything worse. If I put it after Rat my amp starts screaming

Just the right thing

This is a third compressor pedal that I tried. In the past I also tried an MXR and a Boss, which both did not quite meet my expectations.

This Electro Harmonix compressor at last turned out to be the right choice--easy to operate, nice-sounding, versatile, well-built, and quiet (not adding unwanted noise to the signal, unlike those other brands mentioned above).

I'm not a professional musician and I only tried this pedal at home, but I think that I can still quite confidently conclude that this is a very good compressor that can be recommended to others.

The one to have

Perfect for getting a good compression on your signal. Has the right knobs for total control. Blend and attack is crucial, and many cheaper pedals dont have this.

My main Squeeze ;)

I using this for my electric Guitar! Sounds great :D For the price it's Awesome. I play mostly at church, So I experiment with creating atmospheric music! So I play a lot with the sustain & attack knobs! Its has all the main knobs to to get that Sound & tone you want. My wife thinks its the coolest looking pedal :D I would have to agree with her on that. She got style (both my wife and the Tone Corset)!

So far it's doing a great job, no cons!

If you are looking for a budget compression with Great quality and sound? This is a Great choice!
