Good for Vocalists working solo.

I purchased the Voice Box so that I could rely 100% on my vocal skills and be able to create different types of vocal layers.

Because I use a loop station, the Voice Box allows me to layer voices that sound different, thus crating a vocal landscape either by using the various Harmony options or by simply modifying my voice with the Gender Bender function.

Besides being a lot of fun, it is also inspirational because it feels like I have many different vocalists to use, while it is always just me.

It took me a lot of testing and trying but eventually I found my groove and to me it is a good tool to create an original sound.

The sound quality coming from the unit is also very good.

Good but i prefer Digitech and tc helicon.

I hve used Digitech basic harmonisers for 5 years and for the last 3 years the TC Helicon GTX harmoniser and fx pedal. This is a nice little box and simple, bought for my keyboard player, but unlike my pedal he now leaves it in the store room for months at a time! The whistle effect is nice, amd good for hand operation, as a foot pedal I prefer the others. Depends what you use it for.

This voice processor has nice features, but don't expect perfect harmonies, because there's not an option to assign a scale to the harmony. If you plug an instrument trough it, it is a bit more accurate though. Without an instrument providing the notes for reference, the octave harmonies are ok, but not so much with other intervals. It's not a total disaster, because it sounds quite musical and it has a lot of options to tweek and fine tune it to your needs.

I use it to thinken choruses and add some texture to vocals, and I am pleased with the results.
