Bought this a year ago and have had no problems with it at all - utterly reliable! We use the Eurolite LED KLS Laser Bar Pro FX-Set for our 3 piece rock band. It is great in small venues and very bright. I added a smoke machine (a must for getting the best out of any lights of course) and moving spot to the bar. All supported 3m up on a Stairville Pro lighting stand. As well as using the remote and foot controller I also have it hooked up to a DMX 512 controller . Although the auto preset programs have good variety and use all the different lights well this gives us complete control. The whole system packs into an excellent well crafted case. Very good laser. The colors are bright and juicy. The lines are thick. For medium and small halls the most that is necessary. Very convenient for transportation. Animation is selected classically, for all major holidays. And the most important plus is the keyboard, it's very easy to control. The texts are typed in real time, they can be stored on 10 channels, and then you can start the automatic playback with the recorded effects of rotation and manually rotate with the animated show. This is a big plus for working in a restaurant, you can not only congratulate a jubilee in a microphone, but accompany it with a laser show with wishes and the name of the hero on the wall. The Stair ville dj lase 40g mk111 dmx IR is a great light . I am a mobile dj and i bought this light for my rig as the price was right and i wanted something to make my light show special. The light has been well used and so far there has been no problems. There is a very cool feature on the back of the light to stop the lamp being stolen, this is a key you must use to turn on the laser without this key the unit is useless. Another feature i liked about the unit is its small light weight frame and massive light output. I would recommend using the unit with fog but all djs know that all lights are better with smoke. Great unit for the money, will be purchasing another one very soon.

For the money this offers a lot of value and options, but sadly ours let us down at a gig (wouldn't power up, then worked a few days later, then went dead again) and is now in for repair. It hadn't been used excessively and has always been looked after and transported safely, and all indicators would point to some loose connection somewhere. This could well be a one-off and I wouldn't judge it too harshly unless this becomes a common issue, but if you need a dependable light for professional use this might be worth bearing in mind.

The Showtec Dominator has been a great addition to one of our mobile DJ Rigs. It's DMX-able, all 3 elements of the light work well independently and together and the light output is great. The positives on this light are numerous but in essence it does exactly what you'd want it to when purchasing a '3-in-1' unit; it acts as a great utility light rather than a main feature. What I mean by this is that between the throws of colour, strobes and lasers this unit is able to create a great palette from which your 'main effects' can build. The effects on this unit aren't as flashy as you'll get on some scanners, moving heads or more expensive lasers but when used in conjunction DMX'd they work together brilliantly. I was looking around for lasers and was about to buy lasers from Kvant but then I found these. What I was looking for was DMX control of lasers, the higher-end lasers like the Kvant Unity Raw only have ILDA to control and having a dongle for each laser would get expensive. Here you have DMX control which doesn't give you unrestricted creativity, but since you can create your own animations and upload them directly into the SD card inside the machine, you can then use DMX and trigger these animations, ILDA is also available as well! Comparing it to the competitors in this price range, Laserworld just gives you so many more features like being able to use an ethernet cable to connect it or having power con in and out. I use this bar for parties and small DJ gigs. I'm a first time DJ and the relatively low price point is a huge plus! It's absolutely brilliant, the light output is great and high quality. I really like the sound to light feature, it makes life a whole lot easier. Pros; - Great light output; - Good quality build; - Auto and Sound to Light modes are excellent; - Easy to transport in carry case. Cons; - Mic isn't overly sensitive (even with sensitivity dial); - If you want it for a large venue then you'll need at least two; - IR remote doesn't always work?! Overall, for a first light purchase this is excellent and very easy to use / setup. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!

This light is awesome. It really throws the beams out there. Don't be fooled by the size. The light is small, but is a great effect to my light show! I have had this unit for over 1 year and use it weekly. It still works perfectly. It is a very solid unit. It has a good amount of weight to it for being so small. Works great with smoke. If you want to get creative with the remote and change the effect during a song you know the beat to, you can make a great effect. I bought this laser effect light to create a dance floor when i'm out mobile Dj'ing. I was surprised with the quality and performance i got with the money i payed. The quality of the beams if second to none. The clarity is perfect even at a long range. The many different built in patterns are great but the speed cycle of which they change is a bit too fast for me. You can manually select a favourite pattern to stay on using the remote which i find very handy indeed. The build quality of the laser housing is exceptional. Tough enough to take a bang and has a surprisingly powerful built in cooling fan that gets to work straight away. The fan is a little bit on the loud side but that means its doing its job. Overall i highly recommend this product for mobile DJs and small venue owners.
