Elixirs are the best

It's Elixir, they last long, sound great for months and don't get covered with junk immediately.

I'm using this single string for my 26.5" 7-string guitar for the lowest A string, which I sometimes tune up to B, and for that, this gauge is great.

my favorite strings

Long life and pleasant feel, they wear only as much as you play them. I use .064 for low B, tuning down 2.5 steps, sometimes dropping to A.
