Super strings for very good price!

Last much longer than others

I added this to my purchase of the 5-string set as there is no 6-string option so i will just copy the same review i did there:

I have waited for months before writing this review as i was skeptical about the coating but i have been converted.

I do not play daily and my bass can spend many weeks unplayed in my closet and previous string would inevitably degrade quite quickly even like this. These string on the other hand still sound like new after months and i could not be happier.

Pros:

- good sound

- same "feel" as non coated strings

- last much longer

Cons:

- price

- no single set for 6-strings

very durable

Maybe not the best sounded strings, but def the best duration overall.

I use Elixir strings for my 6-string fretless.

The strings are great. They sound great, the feel great, and they last a long, long time.

Quality top C string that lasts

I buy this to go with the 5-string set 14202 for my 6 string bass.

Elixir strings cost in terms of outlay, but with the lifespan they more than make up for it. I don?t expect to use anything else for some time.

a good choice for your high C

Sounds good and not too brittle (as is the case with some C strings), lasts very long (a bit less than thicker strings, but still very long). It would be even better if it came packed together with other strings.

BEST STRINGS EVER !

These Strings are the BEST STRINGS EVER ... sound, durability, reliability, stability.

Nothing compares to them.

Good strings. Nice tone. Long life. The coating comes off quite fast if you play with a pick but other then that they are good strings and very long life on them.

The best of strings

Excellent sound, durability and resistant to temperature differences.

Elixir nanoweb 0.032

One of the best choice if you like long lasting strings. I prefer to use this high "C" string with the Elixir nanoweb 0.040-0.095 set.

Elixir is a very reliable brand, long lasting bright sound and very smooth touch. Highly recommend it to everyone.
