Sound that lasts

I play acoustic guitar in a Professional trio and I use this strings for three years now. At First I resisted to put this on my guitar because I didnt like the slepery touch on it. But after 4-5 days I use to it and now when I play guitar with other strings it feels strange. The sound of the strings is bright, tight and it lasts for a month - with everydays three hours perfomance. Buy it!

Long lasting

They hold their brightness 5 times longer than any other strings I've used before. Can't recommend them enough!

Excellent

Live performance & recording purposes.

very durable guitar strings perfect for my guitar.

I like how it sounds and the clarity/ brilliance doesn't fade out with time.

Great durable tone

Been using Elixir strings for years and they're the more consistent strings tonewise.

Play longer...change lesser

Get the 3 set pack instead with substantial cost savings. De facto standard strings known for its high quality and lasting value. Go for it.

The best

I've been playing a Simon and Patrick mini auditorium for 3 years now; during this period I have tried out 4 different string sets: Dean Markley Alchemy Gold Bronze 12-54,, Martin phosphor bronze custom light 12-54, D'Addario EXP16 Phosphor Bronze Light 12-53 and Elixir Nanoweb in both 11-52 and 12-54 variations. My experience so far is pointing on the Elixir, which is providing the best sound compared to all other choices above. The only concern lies with the price, as it is the most expensive of all;

I will give a try to the Dunlop DAP1152 Phosphor in the future, but I'm somehow feeling that I have already met the best choice for the particular guitar (and my particular ears of course!).

however. These last for ages

finally i found them!

Those are my new favorite Acoustic guitar strings, i use them in a Fender Sonoran and an Ibanez and i really love them! The don't have too my low frequences and nice smooth high frequence tones. With my Ibanez I hat the problem that with thicker strings, the neck bended quite easy, this is the perfect strength for all of you who want a smooth sound for their 6 strings which can be bent easy and don't need too much finger pressure.

Worth every cent

Having been skeptical for a few years, I was given a gift of a set of these strings, and I was instantly converted. I have found cheaper strings very uneven in output, the G and D tend to be far quieter than the outer strings. Not so with Elixirs. Every string rings out, and stays bright to the end. On average, I find they last more than twice as long as cheaper brands, and never become dull-sounding.

I have tried a number of other coated brands, all very good, but not nearly as long-lasting as Elixirs.

Buy one set. It won't be your last.

Used them almost exclusively

Tommy Emmanuel doesn't like them he told me, but I do. They last long enough for me to actually play them not waste time changing them.

Slightly too bright for some and may be the case true but the coating at least lasts a fairly long time.

Good but...

they started to look worse for wear quite soon after they were put to use. Here's the unusual thing though, they still sounded fantastic... So yeah, the sound better than they look.

Best strings you can get!

I know they are pretty expensive compared to other brands, but they totally worth every euro I pay.

I allways use Elixir nanoweb strings on my acoustic because they give me the best sound and the best durability i've tried. One of the best investments you can make for pretty much any guitar.

I would highly recommend these strings!

Class is permanent

Keep that new string sound for longer! Friends raved about these strings I had to try them to believe and now I believe! It's all true, definite quality and worthy of the price.

Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light Acoustic

I don't have sweaty hands, even after 90 minutes playing. I wash my hands before each session. I doubt that I really need these. I only got them out of sheer curiosity. The concept is great, but I keep my hands and guitars and strings completely clean and grease free at all times. I don't even eat or drink while playing. Great idea, but rather OTT for me.

Best strings out there

Really.

These are the best. I tried almost all of them folr my acoustics, no issues to report, just satisfaction. Epic tone, really easy to bend,

nice and shiny, great slick sound when sliding. Just perfect. It'll bring out the best of your grandpa's old guitar, and your brand new Guild as well. I'll never buy any other brand ever. Price worths every cent.
