I am using it on an OM guitar with a cedar top and it works very well, much better than the Elixir phosphor bronze strings used before. I will buy it again.

Elixír make the best Strings

When I tried this string, I changed my strings for Elixir, on

my all guitars. I never will use anything else.

Really long lasting nice clear and twinkle sound.

Quality

As I have found with all elixir strings they are the best on the market. I find that straight away it improves the tone of any acoustic as well as being very long lasting compared to other brands. I believe they are definitely worth the extra couple of euro to get these quality strings compared to buying cheaper alternatives.

Beautiful strings.

Elixir never disappoints. I have been a keen fan of these strings for an extremely long time. The tone is quite warm and lasting. They are also very strong and very hard to snap. I find that they are definitely top of the line strings and perfect for gigging with as there is a very small chance that you will encounter the awkward ordeal of breaking a string mid set.

Elixir acoustic strings

Ive used these strings for the last 5 years and I have to say, I'll never use another brand of acoustic strings ever again. They provide ling lasting tonal life along with great sound and warmth. Sparkling highs and warm, mellow lows, they are the best acoustic guitar strings on the market.

Acoustic guitar strings for sweaty people .....

I thought I'd give these coated guitar strings a try since any other strings I try seem to go "dead" very quickly. Someone told me I have acidic fingers, although I've never heard of that one before. These strings have a nice tone to them straight out the packet and have lasted very well so far. I mainly play with my fingers so can't say how the coating would wear using a pick.

So, great strings at a good price and last very well.

Elixir

Playing in a full time working Irish band where a considerable amount of rhythm playing is required. You soon learn where the best value in string lie. Elixir last the longest and keep a good tone.

For casuals too

These strings are very smooth to your hands. They sound balanced and are long lasting. It depends on your playing, but even for casual players they are worth to try. No corrosion on the E,A and D string. Perfect.

Great strings!

Last 3-5 times longer than uncoated strings, and sound better than most and as good as the rest, while only costing about 2x as much. You do the math.
