best strings I've ever had

I think I must have a high acidic content in my sweat because I burn through guitar strings at a rediculous pace. At least that's how it used to be before I started using elixir.

I've got several electric guitars and I needed strings that would last. If you give these strings a wipe down after playing they will last you even longer. I have tried several different brands that claim to do the same job but these strings are without doubt the best.

Elixir Nanoweb Light is a perfect choice for everyone who likes a good sound/playability AND for those who doesn't like to change their strings weekly. Of course it is a matter of taste, when it comes to the thickness of a string, but for me the light version is perfect. I like the clear and slightly metallic sound (not too cold).

The big advantage of Elixir strings is - of course - the durability. I changed the strings after 4 months, because I had a guilty conscience.. but the sound was still decent :)

I gave 4 stars for sound, because I think it is not the best sound that you can get, but still in comparison to other strings that last only 1 week.. very very decent :)

These are the standard by which other electric guitar strings should be judged by. Smooth and long lasting. And this 3-set package is a really good deal here in Europe.
