I am satisfied with my purchase - a good mute for a good price which also looks good. As was mentioned in another review, produces a metallic sound reminiscent of Miles Davis.

Black rubber to hold mute in place poor material!

Although the sound is quite good, the black rubber piece to hold the mute in place was damaged just after a few uses.

I guess the brands who use cork for that part are way beter off !

If Emo would change that it would be definitely a good choice but now i had to return it for that reason.

Excellent A*

This mute is a superb addition to my my collection. Do not let it's weight (or lack of) sway you from it's quality.... Aluminium is meant to be this light. It is strong and well made, and a rival to Denis Wick mutes, but at a fraction of the price. The tone quality is immense and it is a well defined sound. Could not recommend this more!!!!!
