Splitbare Guitar Cabinet

One of the best
-Heavy and sturdy, perfect match for metal amps.
-Loaded with 2 Celestion v30s; many guitarists favourite speaker. (Yet so many hate these, check the facts before you get one)
-It has better material than many other cabs.
-Looks cool. Looks even cooler with the engl head.
-Cleans are fine (if it is not best)
I have only one regret about this purchase; wish I had same cab but 4x12!
Engl E212VH Pro BK
Purchased two of these, having retired my two early 70s Marshall 4x12s. Really impressed with the build quality and the sound is amazing. I've been using Engl amplification for the last 10 years and loved the sound the amps produced through the 4x12s. Now I run the same set up through both 2x12s, it has taken the sound to another level. The Engl amplification consists of the E570 special Edition Tube preamp and an E840 Tube power amp.
The best hard rock/heavy metal 2x12 on the market!
This absolute monster rings out with so much clarity and tightness, practically makes any amp sound good. Using it primarily with my Peavey 6505 and the sounds I get are phenomenal. Built like a tank so it is quite heavy, but that is possibly the only "downside". HIGHLY reccomend it!!!
A tank of a cab
This thing is built like a tank, I'm definitely not afraid to take this one on the road, unlike my Orange 2x12 which got damaged even though I am very careful with my gear. I bought it to use with a 6505mh, and I was worried that maybe it wasn't going to be enough to gig with it since the 6505mh is a 20w amp. Boy was I wrong, this thing gets LOUD.
I also tried to reamp a guitar track in my studio just to mess around with it and it takes no effort to get this thing to sound great. With the Orange cab it took a lot of work with the mic placement to get it to sound right, but put a 57 anywhere in front of this cab and it sounds massive.
Incredibly well built and sturdy cab
This thing is built like a tank and very heavy. I've had it since 2013 and it'll probably survive a few apocalypses. Running an ENGL E670 head through it, and it melts faces.
Awesome cab. Need casters.
I have a Mesa Roadking 2x12. That sounds a lot warmer (or dull to others). I am definitely digging the this Engl cab for its aggressive sound. Top notch. Took off one star for features because I wish it came with wheels like the Mesa.
Definitely not a Humpledink!
Using the Engl with a Peavey Vyper Tube 120 Head for gigging and the response and tones cannot be faulted no distortion unless required (the Peavey volume turns up to 13 [its 3 more than 10 ;¬) ] ~ we don't turn it up to full with the Engl ~ too loud man!)
The Engl is solidly built (it damaged a wall corner with hardly a scratch on the Engl) not too heavy for 1 person to carry (just the size makes it awkward)
We now use an Engl tube head as the Vyper was a little gimacky; we still love the speaker cabinet
Would definitely recommend
