What a combo
I got this amp around a week ago, and what an incredible amplifier it is. First of all, the features are really good. It has power soak, which is great if playing in a low volume setting. In addition, the headphones input allows you to practice completely silent. I bought the footswitch as well, which makes it totally effortless to switch between the clean/lead channel and to apply/deapply the boost.
The sounds out of this one are really good too. The clean channel is nice, however it breaks up quite quickly. This might be a drawback if you want to play clean. My humbucker guitar really broke up the clean channel quickly, however when using my single coil guitar it stayed clean easier. The lead channel gives you a real good hard rock/metal distortion, and if the boost is applied it really fattens the tone, ideal for lead playing.
All in all, a really good amp with good features. In my opinion, it is best used for rock/hard rock/metal tones, however with a different set less aggressive humbuckers than I have, it might be useful for other styles as well. I can only recommend this product, good build quality and good sounds.
