Advice:
If you are thinking of purchasing, please stop thinking !!
If she's in stock, get her before she's gone.
Best bang for the buck
Top build quality, electronics and pickups are very good
Rewired it to 50s spec, pickup selector switch isn't great.
Great guitar, good value
I really like this guitar, and it is great value. I've been playing 40 years, and owned many Les Pauls, inc Custom Shop models. I am wiser now, and buy based on bang for buck, rather than headstock name and stickers. I play 3-4 times per month in a classic blues-rock band covering Clapton, Floyd, Bowie, Snow Patrol, etc. I love the feel of the neck - it is BIG! The P90s sound good (but not exceptional) and the general fit and finish is very good. I have no hesitation in recommending this guitar to anyone - first guitar, back up guitar, main guitar, upgrading platform - no problem. Blues, punk jazz, classic rock all handled well.
beautiful beast
i really love my new les paul special its looks and sounds brilliant
the colour in the pictures are totally different than the actual guitar it's less yellowish which is awesome
the sound is thick and beautiful on the NP and clear and angry on the BP
i have a lot of guitar and this is my favourite
and it's a 50's neck so it is thick
the only down side is the wood really was dry but after putting lemon oil and changing the strings it
absolute recommendation , you are getting more than you are paying
The best budget LP Special
This is a really good budget option if Your looking for a Special Les Paul, the 50?s neck profile is amazing! the overall quality is good, the paint job and knobs quality can and should improve.
Probably the best bang for your buck
Amazing guitar, pretty good construction at the same level probably of a budget Gibson.
I was very surprised with the quality of this instrument, its sound unplugged it's huge.
Highly recommended!
