All my dreams for 1/10th of the price!
I will start this review by saying what an astonishing piece of kit you will be receiving with this Epiphone Les Paul Studio. The guitar more than satisfied the appeal in having an instrument that is on par with a Gibson product in just about all ways except the price.
Upon unboxing the guitar it was flawless, the setup was great and it was immediately playable.
In the hands, the guitar is indistinguishable from its Gibson counterparts. The neck is comfortable and smooth and the guitar benefits from the ultra modern weight relief without compromising on tone.
The pickups are versatile and have more than enough beef in the bridge position to play heavier riff's whilst retaining warmth and class around the neck.
For the money I would say this can't really be beat and my only gripe is that the guitar does not come with an option to pay slighter more and get a bespoke hard case.
Fully recommend this guitar to anyone who wants a step-up in quality without and enormous dent to the wallet.
Bang for the buck
I'd say this guitar delivers pretty good value for the price it's currently being sold at. Coil split function offers great sound diversity. Although I am not satisfied with the build quality. Glue doesn't hold tone and volume knobs well and they come off loose once in a while. Pickguard screw holes have not been predrilled which means if you want to remove the pickguard then keep in mind that the paint and polish around the screws is very fragile. Output jack's nut comes off loose very often and therefore has to be tightened every now and then. Although if you look past these small issues, you'll get a very well-made Les Paul model that stays in tune and plays really well. Definitely one of the best choices out there for guitars under 400 €.
