So cool guitar
Its just the best guitar i ever held so light and pretty cheap very good for all types of players
Mixed review
Pros:
1) one of the most smooth, satin finishes I've ever played, really quick and frictionless to slide around
2) great fret job, not high frets or buzzing
3) perfect intonation from the factory
4) great tone (if you adjust the pickup height)
Cons:
1) grainy frets, which make bending a pain
2) really mediocre/bad tuning stability and cheap tuners
2) the nut is cheap plastic, really cheap. looks like it came from a GI Joe.
3) tiny, vintage frets. almost like an acoustic, also
terrible for bending
4) the heel joint is wayyy too low, making playing high up really impractical.
5) not as light as advertised, It's actually quite heavy
Overall, it's a good beginner guitar, to learn chords and riffs
but I would definitely choose Squire or Harley Benton instead, they're just vastly superior instruments for the price.
Great budget guitar
Good for a cheap price, only negative I had with the guitar is that the strings that come with are dingy (?), apart from that frets are great and no flops in the finish.
Good beginner guitar
Bought this guitar as my first electric guitar after playing acoustic for a while. I am very impressed with it. I've only played a few electric guitars before, but this definitely feels more expensive than it is. The edges of the frets are smooth so nothing to catch my fingers on.
The controls are simple with just a volume and tone knob. I would say this is beneficial for a beginner.
The tone of the guitar is excellent. A friend said "it's definitely an SG." I agree with him, it's a very authentic tone.
I changed the strings without even trying the ones the guitar came with, more out of personal preference than anything else.
Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It's a whole lot of guitar for the price.
Awesome
So @uck@ng light jesus!
I'm used to play on an Harley Benton explorer and when I tried this..... Jesus... I'm still to understand how can this two have so much difference in weight
The original pick ups sound great... whoever... I'm changing them because I want more "heat" but believe when I say these Pickups are good! Very complete arrange of playable and pleasantly audible sounds! If you like this body, buy it! No regrets!
