Everything is great sound looks only the the hole for connecting the amp is too rough

One of the best semi hollow guitars for the money

This guitar is such a beauty… killer looks and tones. The differences between a Gibson SH and an Epiphone SH are minimal, not worth the heafty price tag on a Gibson. For those who say that you can hear the difference between the two, are high as a kite. Highly recommended, such a dope guitar !!

Beautiful Guitar

For all those that think Epiphone is a poor man's Gibson need to rethink their ideas. This is a lovely instrument which plays really well and sounds cool. If it was ok for John Lee Hooker...

Nice guitar but a lot of intonation issues!!!

Nice looking and sounding guitar... however tainted with a myriad of intonation issues (bridge setting, saddles setting, truss rod setting)... probably will also need a nut setting / replacement.

Great value guitar

Cracking guitar for the price point.

I replaced the pickups with gibson 57 classics and it sang like a bird afterwards.

All in all, money well spent.

guitar had a crack in the neck

The guitar arrived and i was so excited to open it up. The first thing i noticed was the massive crack on the back of the neck along with strings that have been put on all over the place in the wrong tuners. Extremely disappointed with the product.

Weapon of Choice ..

John Lee Hooker said about his weapon of choice the Epiphone Sheraton ''Epiphone out did the Gibson ES335 with this Guitar'' This is an Epiphone original, Sheratons have been made exclusively by Epiphone since 1958/59 .. The Sheraton ll looks like a Gift from God and plays like John Lee Hooker says .. ''an out did ES335.''

Unchanged for years and I can see why!

I have bought several hollow bodies and this one takes the cake. It's built to the specs of Gibson's higher end guitars with epiphone electronics and it shows. The guitar looks as good as it sounds and plays better than it looks. I like a rich clean and this guitar delivers. The blues low crunch is also supreme. I have more sense than money and every once in a while it pays off. Great guitar for anyone who loves that deep classic sound and smooth look. The classic look never gets old and if it's good enough for the Beatles it's good enough for me!
