This machine is beyond amazing, it has a particular sound which I really like. The feel and functioning is exceptional. Great for live use, studio use and for sound design. Highly recommended

Techno in a box is how it sounds. It has the most intuitive interface to produce complex sequences - everything is labelled on the front panel sir once you've read the manual its makes sense. A very modern drum machine.

Perkons HD_01 - The lay out is just perfect... a great bit of industrial design by the team at Erica Synths! I clicked with it instantly. All powerful and it is so easy to use! A little menu diving with shift functions, but this is kept to a minimum. It has plenty of storage for 64 patterns and 64 kits in one of 64 banks on the supplied SD card. Also where you perform
firmware updates.
The HD_01 has a wide palette for shaping sounds with three different algorithms and three mode switches with different parameters per voice, as well as a High Pass, Band Pass and a Low Pass filter on each channel with a cut-off knob for control. As for each channel having 8 control knobs for Tune, Decay, Parameters 1 & 2, Cut-off, Drive and an FX Send as well as having it own Level setting. Adding your own flavour of FX to each voice. When you access the FX send and returns on the back of the unit, that removes it from the Master Effects section.
The only way to try it, is to buy it... If your local music shop don't stock the HD_01! Don't go by Tube videos. That is in no way helpful... You have play it to understand the complex blend of probabilities, odds 1 & 2, rachets and the routing of the L.F.O. page.
I didn't mention it.... that you can set each voice to drone and attack it with the L.F.O. page to get some other worldly sounds!
All in all, this is a very cool drum machine with lot's of character and endless possibility's.
