The Ernie Ball classics. Great strings to put on a strat for example.

They have a very warm and balanced sound and are very comfortable too play, especially when you bend notes a lot.

Not as sharp/brittle sounding as D'addario or Fender strings and more comfort to play.

They last about as long as every regular string sat so yeah what can I say more ERNIE BALL is the way to go!

Great Set Of Strings For A Strat!

These strings are really durable and rich in tone! I find these strings really easy to do bends with.

Just great consistency

I have been using these strings for quite some time. I use them on several of my guitars and I find these to stay in tune very well!

Very consistent quality with these. I dont recall ever breaking a ernie ball string once. Usually they outlast me tonewise and I just change them for reliability.

Great product, sharp prices, fast delivery!

Reliability and quality

These strings are my 'go-to' strings for all my electric guitars. I always know what I'm getting in terms of tone and reliability, but also durability as they have rarely broken on me. All in all a top product!!

Why use anything else

Tried various other strings over the years, and I appreciate that there are more expensive fancy coated strings out there that promise extended life and so on, but these have always been reliable for me with good feel, sound and a decent life. Usually change every 5 or 6 gigs, I can't remember the last time I snapped a string so will probably use these forever!

Go for it

I use exclusively Ernie Ball strings. This gauge goes on my shorter scale length guitar (24,75 inches). On this guitar, they handle downtuning pretty well, and also bend well. I've had them sound and look fresh for up to two months. I also like the fact, that each strings has its individual paper package - they are not tied together. This makes unpacking and unwinding much easier and causes less damage. The price is unbeatable.

However, for longer scale guitars, I would recommend using the 9-46 set.

Amazing strings!

Love these strings. I have a pretty bright setup (Tele + Vox amp). These still stand up to the heat even after a year of dulling out!

Use:

I got this set for Custom guitar with two humbuckers and body from mahagony.

pros & cons:

This brand provides you good quality with stable characteristics. There is enough brights, espesially for mahagony guitars.

Great strings.

I have been using Slinkys for 5 or 6 years now and I have nothing bad to say about them.

They feel great, sound great, last long enough and are priced reasonably.

I have tried many different Ernie Ball strings, and I have settled down with Regular Slinkys for my ES335 and Super Slinkys for my strat and similar guitars.

Would definitely recommend them to anyone who hasn't tried them already.

Really the best!

I do not use other strings on my guitars and either wait for them to be in stock or pay extra to get them. It adds twang to my stat and lovely Clapton tones.

On my Gibson LP studio it provides flexibility to the sound, no matter if it is a gentle strum or an attacking chaos applied to the strings.

I stand by these strings! They have never broken or left me stranded or embarrassed.

Ernie Ball 2221

I've been using these strings for years. I think I have never used other brand. It's good quality and just does the job. Maybe you can try different thickness depends on your style.

Nice Quality

Very nice quality, I use them on my Fender Strat.

They are really good for metal/hardrock. Very bright and durable. Just clean the moist after playing and they will last bright for 6 months. Even after that they lose the bright very slowly. Amazing for the price.

I just miss some color scheme like d'adario strings have. Becarefull not to miss the right string when changing them.

Excellent strings!!!

First of all the price for the quallity of the strings is great! I use the ernie ball 2221 more than a year and I 'm fully satisfied. The sound also is excellent, and they hold the tuning long enough! I recommend them

These are the strings with which I have the best rendering.

A clear and brilliant sound and good sustain.

I highly recommend this string brand. I have never been disappointed, they are also pretty solid. To buy with closed eyes. I use these strings on a PRS 408 and Gibson Les Paul. Thanks!

Great Strings

These are provably the most iconic strings ever.

And there's a good reason so many people use them: they sound amazing.

The sound starts to get a little bit dull after a week or so, but, still, my favorite strings for standard tuning.

When I'm playing Eb I prefer a set of 11s, otherwise, these are the ones.

It's perfect!

I play Ernie Ball all the time and it was the best strings for sound/quality/price choice. The sound is quite bright, and it's very hard to brake the strings.
