Great tone

Pretty much the best sounding acoustic strings I've tried. Too bad they don't last much. Zingyness in the top end, nice projection in the mids and full lows. Great for fingerpicking, a tad bright for strumming. Maybe a good strumming option for darker guitars.

Fantastic strings

I would recommend every acoustic player to give these a try. They bring out the best on every guitar I put them on.

Good strings

I am satisfied with these strings, durability and sound are both good.

Too stiff

This is the first time I put snares on a guitar and the guitar became impossible to play. The snares are incredibly tight and the opposite of smooth, making playing a very uncomfortable experience. This also makes me unable to 'loosen' up the snares by playing a bit.

For this reason I can't judge the sound. However, the colour on these snares is very dull as well. They didn't look bright when I wired them and they became dull incredibly quickly. Overall a waste of money and time.

My go-to strings

I switched to these from my d'addarios and I'm never going back. They feel smooth (but not too smooth), the sounds is excellent, they're super responsive, and they last for a long time, too. Honestly, I can't imagine playing anything else on my jumbo.

Ernie Ball won't disappoint

Very reliable and good sounding strings, only thing is that they tend to be a bit dirty when you first use them, and I would recommend using GHS fast fret string cleaner before playing.

Great Ernie Ball Tone

I use these on my cheaper Yamaha acoustic guitar. They provide me with great tone and clarity. They have a warm sound and great playability. Pros: Great tone, great price, warm sounding...

Cons: None Realy...They are just great strings!

Clapton Sound

As the title implies, they sound great. I have been practicing Layla (unplugged) for a while on strings from D'addario, but I was missing that Clapton tone. After switching to these bad boys, I kind of got it!

Pro's:

- Clapton tone

- Nice strings for fingerpicking

Con's

- Not so nice for strumming, at least, I prefer the D'addarios; those are a bit brighter.

Very Nice strings

Very happy with these strings, the medium-light weight made my Harley Benton GS Travel Mini sing beautifully. Used to be a D'addario guy but these have converted me
