Great in-between choice

They are reat if you think 10s are too much and 9s are too thin. They loose their "new" sound pretty fast, like all similar Ernie Ball strings do.

A sound investment.

Sound quality at a reasonable price. Nice tone and simple to play. A great upgrade for a cheap guitar which is why I bought them.

Best strings in the world!

Not much to say....very good balanced tone, they last for long time if you take care of your guitar and clean them up with a dry cloth after playing. No rust!

String thickness

I love the 9,5's! They make bends a little easier than the 10's yet they're not as thin and don't break as easily as the 9's or 8's. I did however find the bottom strings a bit too thin...I'm a metal/prog player so I prefer the lower strings to be a bit thicker. That's why in the end I went for the turbo slinky's. Strings are always of excellent quality and so this is purely a personal choice!

Great set of sizes

I love how these are just slightly lighter than 10's. I go with these on fender scale guitars for to make them just slightly more comfortable to play than with slinky 10's.

Just what i needed

Great sounding and easy thin strings by ernie. More tone than the 9’s and more easy to play than the 10’s. Just what I was looking for.

Really cool

Saw that Ernie Ball released some new strings, so decided to try them out.Slightly thicker than the 9's that were on my E standard Strats and Teles. I do notice a difference in playing, they're a bit 'tighter' than normal 9's, which makes sense. They provide the right tension without the discomfort that i get from 10's.
