Well, this is a simple product, but it does what it does to a brilliant standard. The UV wash from two of these covered a very large school hall with ease, lighting up a white t-shirt right at the back of the room!! Using 2 DMX channels was a very good idea and makes for easy programming in DMX, and even the built in program for static UV is plenty enough when combined with two cheap remote control plugs in a non-DMX show. My one gripe is the necessity for an EU-UK adaptor which although supplied is slightly bulky, an IEC input may have been better, but you can't complain too much as the product overall is very good!!

Bought it for installation, as the dmx version was not necessary for the application. Does what it is supposed to do, light output, well a bit lacking power, it worked for my application but would not use where is a lot of daylight spill. pros - price, ease of use cons - you need to buy IR remote or have an app in you phone or tablet for a small dongle you plug in headphone jack (that does not work that reliably, volume has to be set on max, still rather limited range). IR remote works, but it is an universal one thus a bit confusing. I still would suggest it where it is applicable - installation, not to bright spaces. I'm happy, you get I would say more than what you pay for.

I bought these to use as a backdrop lighting fixture, something a little different from drapes and starcloths. The light output is great, they're bright but aren't blinding as you are supposed to look at the fixture more than the light it generates. That said, when used as a rear wash from the stage, they really backlight the band well. The newer version of the strips come with a cable instead of a built in 5 pin connector which is great for the strips closest to the control box but I will need to see how well they hold up. To summarise, these make a quirky fixture for backdrops - great for bands and club settings - with a good build quality. Just remember that they are not intended to be a wash light or LED bar in the traditional sense! I like them so much, I plan to order another set!

sure this led water effect is not as amazing like the h2o dmx ir of adj but it also costs only 29 euros. the motor of the effect is quiet, its disturbing from a distance about 3 to 5 meters but only when it runs at full speed. without the motor turned on or at the lowest level the noise of the light is harmless. the quality is good enough for the price. the psu is not the hit but what more can I expect for the price.. in fact the powers supply is included in the total price so its good enough in value for the money. I got a stable housing and also a tight holding bracket, perfect. my plan hasnt changed to get me one of the adj h2o dmx ir about next february but 29 euros is no big deal of investment to enjoy the led water effect for an instance to have a cheap alternative. These are good compact units. Great light output and the fact you get a dmx lead, infrared remote and inline power (kettle) extension lead is a bonus! My only worry is the power lead input on the edge face seems to be in the wrong position for me. If all the connections were on one face that would be better as well as the power input lower down. I presume its done like this because of the internals and the battery inside but it does leave it vulnerable for being hit. The battery life when the units are stored vary from unit to unit, some only last 3 days from fully charged to being flat without switching the units on! When they are charged they so far last the 4 to 8 hours depending on the LED mix setting. Overall I am happy and if the above was tweaked on the next model I am sure they...

For a light of its size, this light is amazing. It projects a water effect onto floors, walls or ceilings. The Cover area is quite big too. This is better when you aim it at a dark section of the room which has no other lights. There's a function where you can leave it on one selected colour or just let it move through the various colours. You can also change the speed of colour changes plus the strobe effect can be adjusted via the DIP switches. I have used this light out at a beach party themed event and aimed the light at the ceiling, it gives off a beautiful water effect. I got so many compliments on this little light in the night and had some people thinking it was a projector hooked up. I will definitely continue to use this in my DJ sets.
