This head is amazing at giving a little extra control to the tone and decay of the drum. Still feels exactly like a G1 but won't get as wild with overtones.
Bring on the warmth
Rave reviews of these drumheads convinced me to try them out and i'm happy that i did. They are really easy to stick on your drums with minimal tuning and produce a warm, focused sound with a lot of projection. Being only single ply, but with the strength of a twin ply, these really bring out the tone and character of your drums and can be used for a number of styles of music. However, i thought they were going to have a white coating as in the listing but when they turned up they had a glassy, frosted appearance but still delivered the goods in playabillity and sound.
