I had not used a Calftone 56 on my 16" bass drum before, so was blown away with the response and sheer volume that this head added to an already good sounding drum (Ludwig Questlove Breakbeat kit). The tone is also first rate. More than satisfied with how this product has performed!

I bought it for it's visuals - and I was stunned by the sound qualities on my 16" kick drum. Pair it with powerstroke batter head and now it sounds just like processed kick drum - only slightly lower volume. I'm definitelly buying it for my 20" main kit.

I bought this head to fit onto a Sonor 3005 jungle kit, it’s made by Remo so great quality & has a dampening ring, it tuned perfect with no extra dampening required, the only down side was the price at £39, but I was amazed to find one!!!!!

I bought this drum head for my 16 inch Sonor bass drum and it did not let me down. Once again Remo have come up trumps with this drum head. Great tone and depth super easy to tune and makes a small bass drum sound huge. Great quality, Great value for money and most of all great sound.
