Nothing wrong with it
The sound is good, but much shorter than for example an emperor, a tiny bit too short for me but these are personal opinions.
But if you like your toms short, this is definitely the way to go.
Sounds great through a mic though.
My personal choice number one as reso head on my tom toms. Good tone on every tuning i have used and fits perfectly for the rock and heavy music i am playing. I will continue using these heads as i am satisfied with the sound and quality and price they provide. I can recommend these to every other drummer no matter what your genre is.
