You would need to cover it

To get a nice workout you would have to cover it with some layers, otherwise the rebound on both materials is just too much. But by the virtue of it being my one and only pad for years - its good enough

Portable and bouncy

Not much to say, it has the right size, the right bounciness and it's quiet enough to practice without disturbing your family

Small but great!

Great yet small.. nice rebound.

Versatile practice pad

The pad is louder than I expected, on both sides. The hard side in particular really is HARD! However, it is very good for practicing low dynamics, and the soft side is fine for late night playing.

Very useful

I use this to practice every day. It is very durable and has two sides to play or practice. It has sides with different feel. The harder side is better to strengthen your stick control skills but noisier than the softer side. The softer side is silent, has smoother feel and easier to play. It is smaller in size and lightweight, so you can take it anywhere with you. You can use it on any kind of surfaces and it will not slip or move. I am very happy with it.

Best practice pad

I kept buying practice pads because they sucked.

I stopped at this one.

It feels very nice and is kinda silent.

Nothing left to say

The practise pads of HQ Percussion are simply the best practise pads you can find in the market. To play on these practise pads is the best possibility to practise the rudiments without getting into trouble with your neighbour by hitting the snare drum with loudly played accents. I think it is recommended to use a stand for the HQ Percussion RF-6D Practise Pad because just with a stand you can arrange the practise pad in a way so that it is comfortable to play. All in all I can recommend the HQ Percussion RF-6D Practise Pad because the pad has a lot of rebound and a comfortable playing experience.
