Evans RF-12G Practice Pad 5-stars Reviews
This is really a good practice pad
Nice "easy" rebound to further improve 1 fine tune stick handling skills. Easy to take away for traveling.
My favourite practice pad.
I really like this pad - the 12'' size makes it very handy to use by just putting it on a snare drum or in a snare drum stand, the sound of it is very precise and warm - it's a joy to practice on. It's not annoying at all. Hear that, neighbors? Not annoying. AT ALL. Calm down.
The feel is great as well - a great amount of bounce from the rubber surface.
Recommended!
Good practice pad.
insane rebound. very good for learning technique, very good size. The single con i found is the weight which is very heavy
The classic practice pad !
Good rebound without feeling unrealistic, portable and lightweight...what more to say ?
It's the classic practice pad !
Best pad ever
The best practice pad there is. Build quality is excellent, it will last a lifetime it seems and it is very silent unlike other pads i tried :) you won't regret buying it and you probably won't ever need anything else ;)
The perfect tool
The HQ Percussion practice pad is the perfect tool for all drummers out there. Its unique design is simple, portable and comfortable. It is light and easy to store. The practice pad can be mounted on any snare stand or even just played on your knees for a quick practice run. Great tool to improve your playing techniques and warming up before gigs. I would totally recommend it to all as you CANNOT go wrong.
10/10
That is my second practice pad an its wary handy
I like the sound and even my wife likes it ;)
HQ Percussion RF-12G Practice Pad has wary natural
snare feel and its must have for inprooving your dumming!
Best practice pad at the moment
If you're a drummer, starting from beginner til pro's - get one of these.
This is best practice pad at the moment, the feel is perfect, everything is top-notch.
It is very large and I love it, I use it all the time - practicing at home, warming up before rehearsals and live gigs.
It is a bit pricey for a silly pad, but trust me, you can't go wrong with these, your favorite drummer uses this too!
Pure exercising satisfaction
This pad is Awesome.
Perfect for practice, the rebound is so good you ENJOY it.
Raises your level and makes exercise less boring, and somehow fun.
I also noticed a huge increase in satisfaction with students: I bought two of them to give lessons.
Recommended. If not this, take the two sided one.
Careful: no mount under it, it's just flat wood with some rubber to isolate vibration if you put it on a table (my guess)
Fantastic practice pad
The HQ Percussion RF-12G Practice Pad is your perfect companion when it comes to practicing with no drum kit available. It's very durable and traces of wearout are really little even after a longer period of time. The rebound is great but maybe a little to strong which makes it great for practicing but its feel is quite a bit different from a regular drum. I mostly use the pad for warming up before playing with the band and therefore it serves its purpose very well. The pad should also fit on every regular snare stand and also fits perfectly on a 13" snare drum.
Reel Feel? At least it's pretty close to it...
I just love the size of that thing. I used to practice with one of the smaller versions which really helped me with my overall "hitting-accuracy", but somehow I could not get used to the small pads slowly starting to move across the tabletop while you're trying to focus on your doubles or diddles. This is why I really appreciate the size and weight of this '12"-monster'! You can even mount it on (nearly) every kind of snare drum stand. It has just the right amount of rebound to simulate a fairly tensed batter head or a cymbal. Just great. Could be a little bit more 'noiseless' for my taste, anyway: one of the best practice pads I've ever had, concerning quality, size and rebound behaviour!
Great product
Defently the greatest practice pad for all drummers. The 12" inches is good for starters. Its a must for starting your drumm practice. If u are not a new drummer, try the smaller one (easier to carry with you on your live performances)
Always has and always will be . . . Good!
Love this pad! It's a bit heavy, but the tone and rebound off of it are great. I like about the rebound that it isn't rubbery and unrealistic to that of a normal snare drum. Additionally, when playing, you can really get a good tone out of the wooden base through the stick when executing proper technique that cannot be heard within many other practice that simply focus on being "gummy" and bouncy. A practice pad is meant to allow for practice possibilities that would not exist otherwise if a person was limited only to a snare drum and its loudness. I have no issue playing this pad for hours and then playing a normal drum directly thereafter. I recommend it to everyone.
