First of all this guitar looks and feels stunning. The matt finish is perfect, very comfortable to hold. The guitar plays fast, smooth neck with low action.
There is a nice taper to the volume pot giving lots of tonal possibilities. The volume pot moves very freely and the tone is a little stiffer. Its a really nice combination, easy to tweak the volume and clean things up a little without hitting off the tone. Pushed through an amp with some gain it's a real screamer.
I chose it as it had a great combination of features for the price point. The first guitar I've bought with a kill switch and the novelty has not yet worn off :)
Out of the box the D string is buzzing when played open but nothing a small tweak won't fix.
