Pretty much a rock/metal dream amp! Works excellent with V30 and Greenback speaker cabinets.

Channel 1 has rich and sparkly Fender-esque clean with slight breakup, super usable and miles away from horrible clean channel on Peavey 5150/6505 series.

Channel 2 is hot-rodded Marshall sound (Brown sound) with great crunch for rhythm tones and AC/DC style leads. You can boost it with tube screamer for metal, takes pedals well.

Channel 3 is perfect channel for high-gain rhythm metal sounds, and powerful leads with huge sustain. It has a well defined and slightly compressed sound, and plenty of gain available on tap.

This monster from EVH is pretty much straight plug-in & play amp, and covers everything from country to rock to metal.

dont listen to other review regarding the clean sound, fender make this amp, do you think fender would be involved with a rubbish clean sound?, this amp is 100000 percent awesome, i have owned lots of amps in my 30 year sentence and this is the bizzo!, buy one!, the cleans go from super fender glassy to nice mild crunch, channel 2 is where you find the "brown" sound which is so nice, channel 3 can be set for lead, push the mids and it sings, i use this amp with a covers band and it does every genre of music with style, this is a pro amp and i am so glad i bought it.
