Excelent overall quality

I bought this unit to had a monitoring solution to my MOTU AI and I am extremely impressed with the sound and build quality.

The only downside is that there aren't any control for the lines out so I'll have to send it back to get an EVO 16 instead which I believe do have an overall out control.

If you need multiple inputs and outputs, you can honestly not go wrong with this and the Evo 16. Clean pre-amps, easy to use and set up. Loopback is a massive bonus. Use the outputs for send return FX. I am actually quite shocked that Audient can sell at this price. I keep thinking they missed off a zero. I have my Isla S2400 plugged into this and the Evo 16 and with its 8 mono outs and stereo out, I still have enough to add my MPC One, SP404 MKII and a mic or two. If I bought another SP8 I would be completely sorted, but that is just greedy. Although...

Really good

There's cheaper alternatives, but I'm already used to the pre amps in my Audient audio interface and I quite like them. Easy to setup and use, expanding the inputs and outputs with ADAT is really why I bought it and it does that very well. The sound quality is pretty good, can't tell the difference with my interface. 4/5 quality because the front buttons doesn't feel very sturdy, especially the volume knob, we'll see on the long run.
