Not a "coated" string

Typical string, not any extra coated atributes

The sound is quite good but it loses quite quick, which i was expecting that would not happen on a coated string.

Well-balanced and nice-feeling

I've used Elixirs previously and wanted to try something cheaper. I was not disappointed. These strings have a pretty even tone across the spectrum and I enjoy the sound.

They're not perfect; For the first hour or two of playing the coating caused an extra squeak that I didn't have with Elixirs. The sound is comparable though, and even if they're not quite as good as the Elixirs, at half the price I'm happy to stick with them.
