Great Strat!

I already owned four Strats, so was looking for something a bit different. However when I saw the specs for the new Aerodyne I just had to check one out.

It's unlike any other Strat I've played, which is not a bad thing at all. It's nice and light, with quite a flat fretboard so it took a little getting used to. But, once I did I fell in love with it. The p/ups are quite hot, but still give off that unmistakable Strat tone. The neck is lightning quick, great for speedy legato runs.

The only things I'm not crazy about are the bridge and tremolo arm. They feel a bit cheap given the price tag and I was surprised it was a screw in tremolo, as opposed to pop in. I'll likely change both in time.

All in all, a really great guitar. It looks stunning and plays wonderfully. If you're looking for a traditional strat, give this a miss- but if a Strat with a twist us you're thing, this is a must buy.
