Really nice gigbag. The exterior is made of high quality polyesther, very robust, while the interior is made of the softest padding I've ever touched. It is very light as well. The total thickness is not extreme, I have a few thicker gigbags, but it is enough to protect the instrument and really feels like a quality product. It fits all my superstrats, including a 27" baritone.

I do like this version of the Fender electric guitar gigbag. It is well padded and both my strat and tele fit snuggly inside. Numerous pockets. It appears well made, it will be interesting to see how the soft touch material lasts over a period of time. I would have liked to have had a loop type handle above the pockets, just as an additional grab handle, but this is just a preference and not a problem.

I won't be the first to wonder how Ibanez can sell a guitar costing £830 in a gig-bag which is poorly designed, cheaply made and gives no protection or support – in other words, it's simply not fit for purpose. The new IGBQ724-BK finally addresses all these problems and should really be included in the purchase price.
