Fender Jaguar LTD Mike Kerr TBO
Electric Bass

Nice bass with an unusual sound
Coming from a Epiphone Thunderbird as my main, I was expecting a phat low end as advertised and as is the norm with short scale basses. Alas, this is not the case. Whilst it has some good tone, the neck pickup is mostly just loud but with no defined warmth and presence. That said, playing more with it I found some ways to tame it and it is a great feeling bass in the hands. It also sounds great with effects and distortion thanks to the bridge pickup. I just wish it cut through better in the mix when played clean. Also as a side note, I had to return my first one as the neck was warped beyond repair. Watch out for QC issues.
