Staggered (3 taller, 3 shorter), very smooth, easy to install. They feel very solid. I'm glad i chose to spend a bit more and go for these instead of the cheaper option. They are quite short so make sure you check the dimensions. Fit is perfect on MIM standard from the year 2000

I bought these to replace the older tuners on my 90s Levinson Blade ; they managed to fit extremely well with the original holes - no extra work necessary! Build quality, feel and aesthetics are brilliant - GOTOH have never disappointed me as a brand for its high end Japanese made quality. The staggered nature of the tuners will improve the break angle over the nut and ensure your strings ring out true. However, You will still need a string tree for the high E and B strings. Overall a solid upgrade for any guitar. Make sure you measure up your existing guitar holes before purchasing! :)

I bought these to replace the tuning heads on my Squier Classic Vibe Starcaster. After removing the stock tuners I also had to remove the old ferrules from the headstock as these tuners are slightly too wide to fit in the stock ferrules, but after I put in the included ferrules I had no problems installing the new tuners and restringing the guitar. I'm very pleased with these as I found it a lot easier to restring the guitar, and it's nice to have the string ends out of the way.

These locking tuners are great. The ratio and everything is just.. perfect. Would've loved to see lower heights for the thinner strings, but even aside from that these are really good. I dont like how the reversed locking tuners seem to be worth 75 euros, even though left-sided locking tuners seem to be usually half the cost.
