Fender Player Series Strat Capri LH
Electric guitar

Almost right
It is a Strat, has the tone, and the Fender logo.
Yet, the overall quality is lower than the top Squiers...so if you don't care about the logo...
Unfortunately, the higher Fender model (Vintera) is not available in a lefty variant, otherwise I would've bought that one.
Pros: very good sound, a bit hotter but still Straty; beautiful guitar; the neck was fine.
Cons:
- Righty knobs on a lefthanded guitar... increasing the volume - the numbers go down :/
- the input jack doesn't click! it does contact but it can be easily disconnected
- bad, non-working cavity shielding! Caused the guitar to have more hum than normal, I opened it and checked with a multimeter - the shielding paint was very badly done, and not reaching the grounding.
I bought this Player Strat for my wife. This guitar sounds really close to my 2005 American Standard Strat; in between sounds are great, neck & bridge are as you would expect. The only significant difference to my American Strat is that the Player's fingerboard edges are not rolled. You feel that immediately when you switch between them. The Player's finish is perfect - I think this is a great guitar for the money.
