Amazing strings. Great feel and playability

Wish they'd sell these in bulk

I've been using these for quite some time now and they've been very reliable for me.

Only thing is I wish they would sell them in bulk, so I wouldn't have to store so many individual packs of strings

Good set

A good set of strings to have powerful bass and soft acute to be able to have precise bending and the characteristic vibrato of the Swedish hero!

Good, but with some reservation

Comfortable playing blues with ST and T style guitars playing lots of bends, especially if you don't have lots of strength in your left-hand fingers.

Right away the G string sounded dull and after a fortnight the string was totally out of tune, so I had to change the string already.

I am not really convinced of the quality of these strings but I will try out a few more sets of these strings.

Nice packaging but I was maybe a little unlucky with those as one of the strings from the first set I tried snapped right where the string meets the bullet. Quite annoying. Aside from this little accident, the set is quite extreme in terms of gauge but it's worth a try if you are a YJM fan.

We use these on most of our electric guitars, for an .008 ,these strings stay in tune very wel, and believe it or not, very long lasting, can't really say anything bad about them

A string set that you can trust with no fear

A light set of strings. Easy to play and usefull for a lot of bends. Always with the brand of fender.I recomend it without hesitation.

Very playable

I was just curious for the feel of another version of light top/heavy bottom set and gave it a try. Quite a change after Zakk Wilde boomers, ha, ha. YJM are very playable and allowed me different style of playing, light pressure, easy licks. They were keeping their sound for two years of not frequent playing, GHS Fast Fret was sufficient to revive them to life every session.

CONS. 008 string has pulled itself out of the ball end. As I had no replacement at hand, I used crude repair: wound down the string, put on a ball on a low end, made a knot on string with thin pliers (don't pull too tight not to broke the string), then wound up the string again. It needs some force-bending of the string to properly set the knot, yet it will hold then. Cut the string short and cover the sharp end not to get sting with it.

Excellent very light strings

If you like light strings, you're gonna love these ones. They are not overly bright, they sound big and they bend soooo easily...that's always a nice bonus :) . Also, the price is good too, so I honestly don't see any cons.

Love them

Love these strings. I love the very thin first 3 strings for soloing and string control as well as the lower 3 being thicker for making heavy power chords. Malmsteen knows what he's up to!
