Perfect
It’s perfect and way surpasses what you would expect from this price. Honestly plays on par if not better than my £2000 Gibson.
Tone is versatile, neck pickup is open and sweet when clean, while the bridge brings in plenty of twang and delivers plenty of bite for lead tones.
The finish and the binding are both perfect on mine, could not spot a single problem and quite frankly it just looks gorgeous.
The only thing I could be picky with is it’s bridge pickup. The staggered poles can cause some volume balancing issue across strings, it sounds really great though.
Also mine will need a setup as the action ended up too low and fret buzz is coming through the amp but that’s probably due to temperature shifts from the guitar being shipped around.
Top Banana!
This guitar is absolutely top quality (as with most Japanese products). It's appearance alone is enough to want it, but the quality of workmanship is a massive bonus and second to none. After viewing the FGN (Fuji Gen) documentary and factory tour video (which I recommend) I was totally convinced I wanted an FGN guitar. I won't say anything more other than suggest you check out the FGN factory tour video on WhoTube! ;)
