As I have limited space on my pedalboard, and limited budget I went for compressor and gate from Flamma. The compressor I find starts to add some strange artifacts when sound starts to fade. This is when compression is above 10-11 o’clock and with gain up on the amp. It also adds a lot of hiss, which got better when putting the gate after it in the chain. With the gate before or after the pedal is useless. With the gate after and dialing it down it’s usable, but not great. Will look for a better option pretty soon.

extremely price competitive

It is simple, but it works. It operates under low noise and does not lead into any internal clipping - something that is otherwise often the case on other cheap solutions. I can recommend this.
