Affordable and good sound

I bought these monitors as my first set of amateur/pro monitor speakers. My aim is to make music for video games so I'm not after the ultimate clarity for mixes. However I was pleasantly surprised by the power and clarity from these speakers. After all, I got 5" speakers for just 160 Euros, which is super good value. They look great aesthetically and the build is SOLID. I like most everything about these speakers, and they can get pretty loud. If you're after a budget studio, or are just starting out, I highly recommend getting these as you'd be hard pressed to find a better price on 5" speakers and with such clarity.

Small but perfectly formed!

Having a small home recording set-up, and needing to upgrade the monitors, but with space and budget consideration, I eventually chose the C5Ws.

Plus point-1: Nice compact size which fitted in the small space I had (as expected)

Plus point-2: The sound.... Very pleased with the overall response. The bass and mids were clear and well defined, the 5" bass speaker working well, and the tops were clear without being 'squawky', which all added up to a well defined stereo image. I particularly liked the rear volume control.

Bottom Line: for the price I don't think I could have done better. Recommended.
