Best value for money

Bought this for my home studio for guitar recording and my mixes. It offers great sound quality and at a very friendly price. I like that it's USB powered as well. The XLR / 6.3 mm jack combo is quite handy. Perfect for home studios or in any situation where not a lot of input channels are required.

The only thing it's missing is a power button which has no direct effect to its sound quality, but it's nice to have.

Very Happy

Apart from my constant wish to go for the next version up, I am very happy with this interface. Works well, sounds well. I use it for podcast inputs, nothing too strenuous, but it does the job as good as I can wish for.

Fast to set up, easy to use

After battling crackling and popping and the horrible drivers that came with the EIE Pro for years, then trying to use a Xenyx 1002 USB, I was ready to pull my hair out. I splurged to get this relatively higher priced USB interface, and so far I am very happy.

Use: I use this with Windows 10, Cubase 8.5, Premiere Pro, and whatever else I have around on hand.

Pros: Nice, small, good looking, and no more wall wart to plugin. Almost flawless installation on Windows 10 with great video tutorials focused on getting started and usage for various purpose.

Cons: A minor hang on install, but it went away with restart.

My only concern is the small micro USB data/power jack that seems a nit vulnerable. I have seen these often fail on USB power banks. I'd like to see a recessed socket that uses the plastic of the plug to support/protect both the socket and plug a bit, instead of just relying on the brittle metal connector.

I'd also like to see a power switch, as I never turn the computer off. It is easy enough to dial the volume down, but the unit is always on. Hopefully this isn't aproblem.

These are the only reasons I give a 4/5 on features.

It's very value for money

Its very compact, it has a very good preamp and the indication for when the signal picks is awesome. The direct monitoring it's fantastic and easy to change modes. Also the input selections (instument and air) are very easy to use and the volume for the speakers and the headphone have a very good quality. I produces zero noice. I am very pleased with the quality of this audio interface it's very good!!!!!!

Great interface with low latency

Great interface with low latency, easy to set up. Stereo direct monitoring is a great feature when hooking up electric pianos. It would be great if you could control the mix on direct monitoring with sound from the PC, but unfortunately that is not possible.

Great sound card for the price!

Undoubtedly the best sound interface for that price range! I had a Scarlett 2i2 1st Gen for many years, but the latency in that old one was bothering me a lot so I thought it was time to purchase a new one. To be honest, I was a bit afraid it would not solve the problem, but it did perfectly :) it was super easy to set up and I'm being able to use it perfectly!
