Fodera 5-String Set Light Nickel

Nice and clear

If you like not-so-tight strings, that is definitely a go! For my hands it felt spot on. I play a lot of Marcus Miller, Jamiroquai, Marvin Gaye and Motown records in general (James Jamerson full time), so dynamic is important for me and I don't like stings without response and punch - this set of strings delivers everything I need. Durability is also important, and so far the tone has changed just slightly (2 months of use), so I'm very happy with the result.

It is, overall, one of the best string sets I've played so far.

Best strings ever...

To put it simply - the best strings I've ever used. Gradually moving all by basses to Fodera now (4-string, 5-string and 2 six-stringers).

They seem to last longer as well and the decline in tone is gradual, unlike my previous favourite.

Excellent strings

I got the 5-string set and I couldn't be more happy with it. Bright and clear but not abnoxiously so. I'll buy these strings from now on. They seem to last pretty good too.
