It's all about the sound.
Received today. Compared to my £400 Ibanez S521L this is similar quality but more versatile. The neck is rounded and no fret sprout. No fret buzz. Nice smooth satin neck. It was nearly in tune which is amazing for a floating two point trem. Intonation needed some work. Action ok and playability great out of the box. Finish is black satin (not stained as press shots). The main point though is how it sounds. It sings. Split coils sound more like a Strat than most Strat's. Really the range and quality of sound is way above this price point.
Framus did NOT deliver
The guitar had to go back, it was that bad. I am very disappointed with it. All in all, good pickups on Pro version (Seymour Duncan) and very bad and cheap electronics. Worse pickup selector than Squier, pots also. Hardware is mediocre. It should come with Framus by Wilkinson tremolo and instead it came with a low cost Framus version. Gig bag is ok but nothing extra. I do NOT recomend it at all. Save your money and time for something else instead. Btw. color is simply satin black, not transparent at all. Guitarcomes with one ply pickuguard, not 3 ply.
