Good for the price
Good construction. It works very well, no problem at all. Only con is the battery life.not what the specs are saying...
AirZone 5.8Ghz
Used in home environment only, although I do have many Wireless Devices over a Mesh system I have had no issues with connection or latency (Would always recommend 5.8 over the 2.4 models)
Just get one even if you (think you) don't need it!
I needed a wireless solution for my guitar but didn't have the budget to go for the big brands. After some research and ended up getting this little thing in 5,8 ghz. So glad I did. It got me through a European tour with my band and many other gigs as well. That is at least 30, in different venues, from small gigs to big stages. I always had a cable ready but never needed it. NO DROPOUTS, NO LATENCY, NO TONE DEGRADATION at least compering to the big brands intermediate UHF wireless gear (which is around 350â¬). Heck, I could always do a line check from any backstage, no problem with distance from my pedalboard. I just love it. Also very simple and efficient to use. Just plug and play. It may feel a bit plasticky and cheap (which it is) but I don't believe other brands offer anything better in sound and reliability at 5-6 times the price of this. Just get one in 5.8 ghz and you won't regret it!
It works with Active pickups without any problem!
I am very satisfied with the wireless transmitters. I have to say that honestly haven't tried more than 2 to 3 meters away from my bass amp head. One thing they do not recommend is to use it with active pickups. I have been using them without any issues for 3 months now.
Very good
First i use wirelees cable. I have for for almost a week. First impressions are 1. No latency 2. No change of sound ( i used it at home at low-middle volume , when i gig ill come back for more details) 3. Extremely easy to use 4. Duration is at least 4.30 - 5 hours so its suitable for a live gig.
Aesthetiucally looking and functional
I've purchased more than 100 of digital wireless systems for guitars and this instrument by Fun Generation AirZone has far better sound quality and lonngevity. It looks sleek in it's design and look sprofessional.
Great for the price
Had this unit for about a month and no problems.
The only thing I don't like is the plastic power switch. Doesn't seem rugged.
I haven't gigged with it, only band practice and had no problems.
In conclusion, it does the job.
Tuner
Easy to use and really user friendly
Sound level signal to a minimum
No matter how many times i tried to pair it - the volume is about 2% of a cable volume.
Probably a defect item which i have to return... just keep the original packaging for easy return, FYI.
Cut the bass guitar fullness and bass kick.
The Fun Generation AirZone 5.8GHz Instrument transmitter disappoints with its sound quality, particularly when used with a bass guitar. During rehearsals, the bass seems to get lost amidst the overall noise (guitar, drums), and the transmitter appears to cut off lower frequencies, resulting in a glassy and thin bass tone lacking the expected depth and punch. It fails to deliver the necessary bass lows, body, and kick for a satisfying performance. By cable, it sounds as it should be. The bass amp Fender Rumble 500, bass guitar HB JB-62 SB. Will return it or resell it to my guitar player mate.
