A must for the home studio

I use it in my home studio trying to keep noise levels from the electrical network low. It does the job just fine.

Pros: Excellent built quality. Plethora of features.

Cons: A bit pricey.

Good at what it does

Very useful piece of gear. Had a few power outages and this thing literally saved my outboard gear. It shows the voltage on the front which is useful, and has 2 pull-out lights with a dim knob. USB port on the front means you can easily charge your phone, which is nice :-)

solved my problems

Before buying this thing I had clicks and other "dirty" stuff in my recordings. Fridge on: click. Lights on in the basement: click. Not anymore with this apparatus. Happy happy.

Great for cleaning up the audio signal

I've played places where the electronics can be sub-standard. Sometimes this can mean you get noises through your gear that shouldn't be there. This keeps a great clean signal of power to my gear.

I never gig without them and put all my electrical equipment through them.

I own 3 and can't recommend them enough!

Rock-solid power distribution with nice add-on features!

Replaced an older massive 3-RU power distributor with this new, sleek 1-RU FURMAN PL-PRO DMC E - and have realized, it goes way beyond just distributing power in my private studio!

Straight out of the box , you can tell it is very high build quality - and delivers up to 20A capacity - it powers most of my studio and I have gotten rid of hum and crackle due to dirty AC ever since.

I absolutely love the constant metering (dimmable LED Voltmeter / Ammeter in front which shows line voltage OR current draw) - I can imagine this is even more crucial for guys with LIVE stage setups. All the outlets are isolated and have noise and surge protection.

The only con, if I have to find one, is the need of purchasing separate EU plug adapter (IEC adapter cable) in case you want to use European two-pole or 3-pole power cords. So those do add extra to the price of the unit.

With total of 9 outlets, dimmable rack lights, USB charger (USB 2/3) in addition to its great power distribution features, I recommend this unit to any small or large setup demanding reliable, clean power.

Quality and quiet unit that is happy in a rack for all gear

I drive my entire studio from this 1U and very happy with the results and noise on the line suppression. It has also protected a number of surges that we occasionally get. Bit pricey as coming from US with strong dollar but good bit of kit that has lasted me around 5 years with no problems.

Excellent device

This is very useful because you can get a better sound quality as it kills the bigger dinosaurs that will cause pops, hisses and buzzes. It will also save your hard earned PA equipment from getting fried by power fluctuations.
