After testing the 8341s, 8340s, glm kit and volume controll I am sure Genelec make beautiful products. Been using the 8341s for my main monitors for over a year now and they've provided valuable clarity in music production. I have found the claims that they are less fatiguing on the ears to be true. When buying I tested the 8340s first, they sounded great, but my ears got tired after 30 minutes (in a large part due to my room acoustics) . These were more expensive but my ears have been so grateful for the investment. GLM control of the lowend in my room sounds surprisingly good but there is a big dip at 80hz listening position (due to my room). I hope to one day test out a sub to see if this can tighten the lowend more. Recently upgraded my soundcard and now feed them with AES, it made a small improvement to the depth of the sound vs my old Audient soundcard.
