Not the cleanest

I bought this Generation whistle because they are pretty much standard and I wanted to hear how such a low budget whistle can perform. Well, you get what you pay for. The 1st octave is relatively good sounding. Nice an mellow. The 2nd octave is a different story. There's lots of unwanted harmonics and intermodulation present. Not a clean sound. Also, it jumps into the 3rd octave too quickly. It's too sensitive. With just a bit more money you can get a Dixon which plays way better.
