Very sturdy

I'm a 100+kg guy, and this thing feels really solid. Been using it for a few years and nothing broke or twisted. I have to slightly tighten up the main screw every few days but that's about it.

The best seat for the price

Honestly if you're looking for a great seat and do not wish to waste a lot of money this is right choice for you.

This seat's cushioning feels really confortable when you're playing and thanks to the memory lock it stay in place avoiding any unwanted wiggles.

I've been using gibraltar's hardware for about 9 years now and I've never had any problems with their products, this seat is no different.

So if you're looking for a solid seat with a great memory lock at an affordable price this is the way to go!

After owning one of these for years it still feels like it's brand new. Extremely sturdy and comfortable, it doesn't wobble at all. It is defo worth investing in one.

very comfortable seat.

screw thread height adjustment with a memory lock.

Poor quality...

The stand is becoming too loose and the throne looks like it separates on the inside.

I paid too much for poor quality.

Very durable for the money

I test this drum throne firstly in studio where I practise with my band, and I found that they fulfill all i need. It is stable, durable, easy to adjust, it is ergonomic and I decide to buy one for my personal use.....I recommend this product to all kind of drummers! It's absolutely worth the money.

Extremely solid and sturdy

This throne is just amazing. I've used plenty of thrones in the past and if not mentioning hydraulic ones, this is propably the best one and I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Great throne!

I'm a lightweight beginner drummer. It is the first throne I bought myself for myself. It has rotary spindle thus one can adjust height continuously. It is greatly build. Sturdy. Everything locked securely. Seat is not soft neither hard, quite comfortable for me at least. Might be a bit heavy for gigging drummers. But overall I'm happy with a purchase and highly recommend it.

I use it all the time. Every time I sit behind the drums. It's very sturdy and hold my weight just fine.

The best!

I purchased this throne for my practice room so I have a good throne while my drum set is out for gigs before myself. My main throne is the same base with different seat. Been using that one for several years already and it's by far the most stable, reliable and durable throne I've ever had. And I've had many good and expensive ones and they all have let me down after a year or two. Not this guy. Definitely recomend!

solid throne

great upgrade from the free throne that was stock with my budget drum kit.

Sturdy and comfortable

This stool has all the sturdiness and quality construction that you would expect from Gibraltar.

The base is reassuringly stable, and the seat is comfortable enough to sit on for the duration of a fairly long gig.

If you're in need of a stool for drums (or a keyboard) this is a strong choice and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Confortable drum throne

I was happy to spend a little extra above the entry level for a really comfortable drum throne. Super comfy and durable!

Very stable, very solid.

This is a heavy, solid and stable drum seat. I bought this to replace the one that came with my beginners drumset (which, needless to say wasn't cutting it).

Pros:

- Heavy drum seat, doesn't budge when sitting on it.

- Adjustable from dwarf to giant.

- There are several clamps with two screws each, meaning it won't budge

- Comfy, but not too squishy.

Cons:

- Due to the amount of clamps and screws, modifying the height can't be done in a matter of seconds. It is therefore not suitable for situations such as drum classes (It's fine if only you use it though).

For the moment it's a very good value drum seat. We will just have to see if it stands the test of time now.
