Just sounds better
I used those special strings for the first time, because I wasn't happy with other strings before and I felt my original 1976er LP Standard fell behind its PAT pickup tone possibilities. But with the vintage strings it got this special warm sound of the LP Standard and really makes a difference to me.

I have many years of experience with these strings, and are my first choice when restringing my electric guitars.
If you like traditional sounding strings, that have fullness and clarity but are not zzzingy (in lack of right word) and very bright with decent lifetime, look no further.
