Glorious Workbench black Reviews

Well built and easy to assemble, but hard to fit FX units in racks

Arrived really quickly and was easy to assemble (providing you laid all the parts out and actually read the instructions). Good quality finish and very sturdy. My only grip is that the rack unit mounting strips are odd rail format rather than the standard mounting strips, making it very difficult to slot rack units in as you can't use standard locking screws. They only include 4 screws per side, meaning unless you buy more screws you can only mount 2 x 2U rack modules on each side. If you wanted to mount 4 x 1U units, unless you have all 4 and commit to the layout of units when you assemble the unit, you would need to take the top of the unit off to add in extra screws. Not easy when part of the top is fixed by glue and dowling pegs! The design is such that you can't simple substitute standard mounting strips. A very poor design decision on the part of Glorious and clearly not thought through from the viewpoint of the user.

Amazing Piece of Equipment

The desk has a top-notch quality feel and aesthetic appeal that will look good in anybody's office. Highly recommend this item for anyone looking to place music or standard office equipment upon it, great item all around. 5 stars.

Perfect for a home studio

Good size, easy to put together and a decent price. Having a built in rack mount is perfect for a small studio.

Fantastic Desk!

I use this desk with a new 2017 Apple iMac 21.5 inch model and its wonderful. the computer sits perfectly on the top part of the desk, with enough room to spare (by the looks of things) for a second 21.5 inch screen should I need to get another one.

I only use my computer for music production with Logic and there is tonnes of room for your gear. The desk comes with 4U of rack space (it even comes with rack screws) and the genre section (between the 2 rack spaces) is a perfect size for my Audio interface (I use Audient's ID14)

I have my Alesis ML-9600 master recorder set up in the right rack space along with my controller keyboard installed on the slide out keyboard tray. its a 25 key model.....and looks tiny now as this desk looks like it can handle much larger keyboards easily.

Set up was simple..although the instructions are TINY!

a perfect desk, at a perfect price supplied by the best audio retailer in the world..I could not be happier.

Great all-in-one solution

I use this desk in a home studio and it?s perfectly shaped for my needs. Plenty of room on the top shelf for an iMac/large screen. I have a 27" iMac on there and there?s plenty of room each side between the screen and the monitor stands.

There?s enough rack space for a basic outboard setup.

Relatively easy to assemble, and super heavy duty. It looks really good considering it?s all MDF!

Perfect for my needs.

I purchased the Glorious workbench to use as a workstation in a small home studio, it suits my needs perfectly, plenty of room for my Minilogue and Minibrute, rackmount for my audio interface and the slide out drawer is ideal for my controller with enough space left for my computer keyboard, mouse iPad and beatstep. It was easy to assemble and the black looks well. Instructions were easy follow and no specialised tools are required. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend to anyone interested in buliding a home studio but perhaps doesn't have a lot of space.
