A brilliant hybrid!!

Bought this guitar 6 months ago. I wanted a hybrid for small gigs, open-mic kind of thing. I've always (50yrs) been an electric player, just bought a decent acoustic 2yrs ago armed with a WoodyXL pup, although this worked, I still prefer the slim body of an elctric, esp standing. I tried a Crafter SAT but the sound wasnt there, elec side was dull, the acoustic brittle & thrashy. I saw the Godin on YouTube and decided to buy one. It really works well, the humbucker performs as a humbucker no need to say much more, the acoustic sounds really good, esp bleeding a bit of humbucker to fatten the sound. It is built to use either one mixed cable, or separate elec & acoustic cables. I dont like the clutter of two cables, altho the sound is more genuine with a good elec amp & an acoustic or DI to PA (a well balanced electro-acoustic sound) - , esp using a volume pedal to swell in the HB when needed, ...I still prefer on mixed cable. But then to find a single amp that does acoustic & elec is a problem. Most acoustic amps (esp tweeter loaded) cannot handle the drive of a humbucker, esp with drive. Most guitar amps cant reproduce acoustic. Best most recent amps that I've tried have been Peavey VIP-2 (OK & very comrehensive but limited clean acoustic vol), H&K Tubemeister18w (the BEST to date!) and soon to try a ZT Acoustic. With the right amp and a few pedals this guitar is such a treat to play with, excellent acoustic & elec sound, very good action, well balanced, well built, very simply attractive. An onboard tuner would be nice, but you cant have everything!
