Pleasant surprise!
I didn't expect these to be that sturdy and heavy - they also have a small footprint, makes them easy to place for snare top and bottom mics in a crowded setup.
Perfect
Heavy, solid and versatile. It can hold any heavy kick mic without any instability. If you don't like the green accents, you can swap the rubber rings with the included black ones to give it a more neutral look.
I'm a drummer. This Microphone Stand is perfect product. Sturdy and reliably made. Large range of coverage. For a second microphone in the case or under the snare drum is perfect.
Compared to other stands that are not in the high end price range, this one is the best.
Really good for a bass drum mic!
Needed a low yet stable and well balanced mic stand and this one is great for that! Plus it can be used also as s desk mic stand because it can be very compact. I do recommend it for low positioned instruments, studio or live applications.
Very solid stand
Very solid stand for close mic @ combo amp ( fender deluxe)
Great kick drum mic stand
Compared to other bigger microphone stands, it is a bit expensive. But overall great stand for kick drum and guitar cabinet micing.
Great short stand.
The stand is built very well overall and the base is very heavy, giving it good stability. The cable management clips work well to manage microphone cables (however, the clip can only accommodate one cable at a time, but most use cases will not be effected by such limitation)
The stand lacks a locking mechanism for the thread between the arm and the tripod part, but this is not an issue.
Excelent product
Very stabile, and heavy duty product for profesinal use.
I like it very much.
My recomendations.
Damn!
What a sturdy bitch. I love it. So easy to use and a brilliant product!
Great for recording guitar...
From the off I wanted a smaller microphone stand than some of the regular stuff out there primarily to record 4x12 cabs in a studio environment. I have a number of gravity stands from previous purchases and so I considered these... eventually buying two of them.
This small microphone stand is exactly what I was looking for, very robust and well enough made to stand the rigors of being knocked about in a studio. I use many of the common microphones and even some of the weightier ones (Aston Stealth) is handled well enough on this stand, and mics like Shure beta and many other microphones are a doddle. There is little or no instability if you set it up right.
I particularly liked how robust these stands are... especially for the price. The little 'green' rings are basically a gimmick and serve little use except for aesthetics...
Overall I would buy again and these are recommended if you need small stubby stands that are very robust in use and can handle even larger microphones that have weight.
